Of late there have been quite a few hum-worthy songs, but there are certain ones which I tend to listen to again & again! These are soft numbers that tend to sink in slowly. You must've heard them before but I'd like to add my two cents to it.

1. Nenjukkul Peithidum - Vaaranam Aayiram
This one's a beauuuuutiful composition by Harris Jeyaraj and Hariharan's voice glides like a gentle breeze!

2. Anbe En Anbe - Dhaam Dhoom
Harris usually reserves his best for his favourite directors. This smooth number too is no exception.

3. Partha Mudhal - Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu
The two Ks, Kamal and Kamalinee infuse life to this song. Though this one came a few years ago, it's still one of my oft repeated tracks.

4. Adiye Kolludhey - Vaaranam Aayiram
This one's not a melody but it's a fun song, hence it's here! And yeah, I'm sure Sameera couldn't have been shot much more beautifully, even when looking simple!

5. Kangal Irandal - Subramaniyapuram
James Vasanthan came out with this masterpiece and Sasikumar brought to life, the rustic village setting of the '80s. The beautiful lyrics is what makes the song stand out from the rest.

6. June Ponaal - Unnale Unnale
Finally, like the dessert after a gourmet meal, this one leaves an everlasting taste in the mouth...err....I mean this one takes the cake...well, it's dinner time so all the 'edible' phrases are popping up in my head, I think you're getting what I'm trying to say about the song so, I better stop here!
